MENAGEN’s 2025–2026 upcoming activities and Key Dates

With the new academic year well under way, we wanted to inform you of MENAGEN’s 2025-2026 upcoming activities. We are very grateful for BGCEL’s ongoing sponsorship and support which enables us to offer you the following:

MENAGEN MPP 2025-2026: The call for applications is already out and will close on October 3 at 5 pm KSA time (3 pm UK time). If you would like to apply for the MPP or know anyone who would be interested in applying, please click the red button below to view the application guidelines and begin the process.

MPP 2025-2026 Launch Webinar:  Everyone is invited to attend the MPP launch webinar on October 21, 2-3 pm KSA time (12-1 pm UK time).  Join us to learn who the mentees for the MPP 2025-2026 will be and to hear about some of the impressive achievements made by MPP 2025-26 Mentees. MENAGEN 2026 Study Tour: We are delighted to inform you that the MENAGEN 2026 Study Tour will be in Cairo – Egypt, April 18-20, 2026. Designed and managed by MENAGENers – Christine Samy, Salma Soliman and Sherine Abdel-Salam, this Study Tour offers a fabulous immersive experience for researchers, practitioners, and policy makers in gender and entrepreneurship to learn about the opportunities and challenges for women entrepreneurs in Egypt and the MENA region.

Included in the Study Tour are also expert-led professional development workshops and a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Join us to continue the thought-provoking academic, practitioner and policy dialogues and innovative collaborations on Arab women’s entrepreneurship. Registration will begin in October so watch out for that email as places are limited! The registration fee for the Study Tour is USD 150.

Following the Study Tour, you may wish to attend the International Entrepreneurship Research Conference (IERC) which will also be held in Cairo, April 20-23, 2026. In the table below, you can see the registration fees and the special rates we secured for attending both:

MENAGEN Webinar Series: We have an exciting webinar series for the academic year 2025-2026, and will launch its details at the MPP 2025-2026 Launch Webinar on Oct 21 so please stay tuned!

Lastly, but also very importantly, we are updating the MENAGEN database to reflect our growing membership. As such, may we PLEASE ask you to complete the questionnaire at this link by Oct 31, 2025. It will take less than 5 minutes!
