MENAGEN MENTORING for PUBLICATION PROGRAMME (MPP 2026-27)

APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: August 22nd, 2026 AT 5:00 PM KSA

Sponsered by the Babson Global Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership (BGCEL), MENAGEN’s Mentoring for Publication Program (MPP) supports early and mid-career gender and entrepreneurship researchers focusing on MENA contexts, with their academic publication endeavors.

So if you answer YES to these three statements, please apply for the MENAGEN MPP 2026-2027:

    1. I am an early career / mid-career researcher.
    2. I am researching a topic related to gender and entrepreneurship in the Arab world.
    3. I am developing a research output for a journal / academic conference / book etc.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsor BGCEL, as a MPP 2026-27 mentee you will receive six hours of free virtual mentoring from a dedicated leading expert specialising in gender and entrepreneurship research and scholarship. Additionally, you will be able to apply for DIRI 2027 and BCERC 2027 conference registration fee waivers, and have your study included in MENAGEN Insights. MENAGEN Insights is designed to make our research visible and accessible for policymakers, practitioners, organisational leaders, and academics.

As a MPP 2026-27 mentee, you are expected to:

1- Be a member of MENAGEN. MENAGEN is free to join at MENAGEN LinkedIn Group.
2- Be researching a topic related to gender and entrepreneurship in the Arab world.
3- Be in the writing stage of your paper and have completed your data collection.
4- Deliver a research presentation about your paper to MENAGEN in 2027-28.
5- To acknowledge the MENAGEN MPP and BGCEL in your publication.

All MPP 2026-27 applications will undergo double-blind review, and the selected mentees will be matched with their best suited mentors. Applicants will be notified by email if they have been selected for the MPP 2026-27 by Sept 30, 2026.
